I am a Catholic wife and mother who homeschooled our children for 26 years. I have a wonderful husband and six great kids. Two of our sons are visually impaired. My blogs share with you from my personal faith, our family life, and other personal reflections, as well book reviews, curriculum ideas for home education, and resources for those who are visually impaired.
"What..." you might ask, "...is this blog about?" And that would be a difficult question to answer.
After I had moved from California to the Midwest (before moving to Maryland), I remember someone saying to me, "I went to California once, and it is hot and dry." Oh, but they had only visited one place, one time. California has mountains and deserts, sandy beaches and rocky coastlines, redwood forests and verdant agricultural fields. What you find depends on when and where you go. When you visit my blog, you will also find a wide variety, depending on when and where you come.
When you visit my blog, you might find me reflecting about a trip or event, expounding on the joyful serendipities of life, sharing about my visually impaired sons, bragging about any of my six children, discussing frugal living, or explaining our homeschooling methods.
If what you find one day doesn't interest you, please either scroll through past posts (see "A Few Favorite Blog Posts", near the top) or come back another day and see if something catches your eye.
Enjoy!
